在安裝膜結構停車棚時就應該根據膜結構現場的環境來選擇防腐措施和防腐材料，并按時進行檢查支承結構，索、夾板和螺栓連接等地方的防腐情況。如果有腐蝕的情況發生，先要除去防腐層，然后重新做好表面的防腐處理。

膜面修補：在安裝過程中會無意或有意的造成膜面出現較小的損傷，此時能夠直接進行現場修補。投入到正常的使用中之后應該對基層纖維布和涂層進行按時進行檢查，對于小的裂口小洞可以直接在膜面外側加焊補丁予以修復，補丁必須要圓角處理，應將焊接面的塵土、油漬和油脂進行清理。

膜材替換：應在膜結構的整個使用期內保留所有的加工圖，這樣可使膜的替換工作變得格外的簡單，只需對采用的新膜材重新進行試驗以確定其補償值即可進行替換施工。如果原幅寬的膜材缺貨，則需要重新進行裁剪設計。也可能需要根據現有支承結構的具體尺寸重新進行結構找形。

Simply retest the new membrane material used to determine its compensation value for replacement construction. If the original width of the film material is out of stock, a new cutting design is required. It may also be necessary to redesign the structure based on the specific dimensions of the existing supporting structure.

積水和排水：如果膜結構停車棚產生積水，必須要立即積水或積雪。如果雨雪天氣持續不斷，積水會使膜材遭到破壞，故要對公眾關閉膜面覆蓋的空間，并立刻采取措施避免新的積水。由于荷載作用下的膜結構會產生變形，膜面坡度較小處可能會有積水。
