一體化設計是在考慮建筑自身的氣候環境和功能需求之后，將外遮陽構件與建筑的多個立面空間復合化設計，如：屋頂、陽臺、外廊、墻面等，使這些構件與建筑渾然一體，創造出與眾不同的建筑立面；對于外遮陽產品本身上作出一體化設計，比如下圖的湘聯遮陽一體化窗，就是組合了鋁合金隔熱斷橋窗、紗窗與外遮陽卷簾的綜合型遮陽。
